I finally got Genmac installed on my DELL laptop, but it causes the system to trap on boot.

Does anyone know what the latest release is? I managed to get hold of v1.5 but that makes no difference.

Is Genmac still under development? Can I send a bug report anywhere?

John, see my post of August 3:

There is a link to the active GenMAC mailing list on Gmane, as well as the ftp info to grab 1.7 (or 1.07, depending upon which documentation or info you read - that's the latest as of this writing AFAIK).

BTW, what's the trap?
