Hey Roderick, I e-mailed you every inch of data you requested.
Including my Config.sys and MPTN\protocol files.
Please don't try to portray this as if I'm just complaining in here, that's not helpful at all.
And the root cause of the error is damn clear, its a faulty TCP/IP stack.
Everytime network traffic spikes (and by now I'm sure its more the spiking as heavy network traffic per se) the stack crashes.
And there mustbe a difference between those drivers, because SOCKETSK *never* crashes.
Its always SOCKETS OR AFINETK.
I just can't use SOCKETSK w/o AFINETK.

That the stuff runs fine on your server doesn't mean much at all.
Different HW platform and interface cards.

The point is that it fails on mine and since I tested this HW under Windoze, its not a HW failure.

I appreciate that you're "Swamped in work", but so am I.
And I risk losing my job if I keep this nonsense up much longer.

I'm swamped in work but hope to send a longer and also to the list with
some genereal information how to debug IP related problems.

Or allocate the problem in a proper way. I can't remeber if you had
given an answer.
I have posted a message about the output of netstat. Or did you send a
reply to the list.
My gues is that the IP stack is running out resources somehow and that
is why its crashing.

So far I have not realy seen any difference between these two drivers.
Maybe with older NIC dirvers.
The Mensy servers have been running for years with the WSeB stack even
using alias settings on the stack.
Cruching terabytes of data.

How would payment be usefull if you don't realy know where the cause
is. So far we have seen a long train of emails coming and its difficult
to see what is realy going on.

Roderick
