I don't have PCI ID strings handy for either of these, nor do I know if the PCI Express bus is even accessible under OS/2, as I simply haven't had enough time to play with an installation on a T60 as yet.
The whole PCI bus and its variants work fine with OS/2 and eCOmStation.
THe new PCI buses are backwards compatible.
Thanks, Roderick. That's good information to have on hand, particularly as the newer notebooks are coming with these Mini-PCI Express cards and slots. I expect that we'll be needing an update to the GenMAC supported hardware list in short order. To that end, I would encourage everyone who has a newer notebook with one of these Mini-PCI Express cards to submit the PCI information to the GenMAC support list, per the information in the driver package.
