While I don't have experience with native OS/2 Bluetooth, I have done some Bluetooth work in the past and
do know that there once was a JAVA Bluetooth stack in the opensource world.
FYI, the Bluetooth radio system is communicated to via serial port, you know, just like a standard
modem is/was. So a USB Bluetooth device is really just a Bluetooth radio system connected to a
USB Serial interface device. The software 'stack' which communicaties with the Bluetooth radio and
network is what would do something like connect a Bluetooth headset with the operating systems
sound system. Or connect a Bluetooth Serial device to the system as another COM Port for an application
to open and communicate over.
Alot of this can be done with JAVA as long as some native hooks were implemented to do the extra
bit of say creating an OS/2 COM3 device or sending the system sound output to the Bluetooth headset.
Hopefully this is helpful.
