Yep. Direcway, DirecPC, Earthlink Satellite, and Hughes Satellite are all the same stuff (Hughes), marketed by different partners.

So according to your's and Arjan's experience those would be the one's to stay away from?
Yes, unless as a last resort. Though as we've said, the 7000-series equipment is a significant improvement over what we used to have to deal with. My last experience with Starband was some time ago, now, so I can't draw a fair comparison.
