This is all *great* wireless info, Arjan. Thanks again for sharing
it. My exprience with Direcway has been rather lousy, though th
7000-series hardware is much easier to use than the old proxy
software on the Wintendo box solution.
Is that the same 7000 series you were saying DirecPC uses?
Thanks,

Yep. Direcway, DirecPC, Earthlink Satellite, and Hughes Satellite are
all the same stuff (Hughes), marketed by different partners.

add verizon as well to the list (now sold here in the Dom.Rep.), as
extension to their DSL (dominican slow line)

Wow, so Verizon is also reselling Hughes? Amazing.
And also SurfBeam units comes in differetn flavors, depending on the
installed system
Used with Wildblue the surfbeam show the same caracteristics as DW/HN ->
lousy uploads
But in the UnaSat "clothes", you are able to make nice hardware SIP VOIP
calls even with a 512/128 100:1 package

Thanks, buddy. This is *excellent* information. I'm glad you've contributed to the thread. Thanks again, so much.
