Stan, you haven't noticed any appreciable voltage drop using a hub on the T23? I might expect this with the T20 and 21, at least, due to their age (and yes, I do see low voltage issues with machines of that vintage - just swapped out a desktop which simply stopped charging an iPod). Just curious.

I get a message about a surge when connecting the Asus. While I have a mini-usb hub I don't have that many USB devices, just a mouse, the ASUS, the camera, a USB external drive and a Bluetooth dongle. Is that not too many? I seldom have more than 2 connected, and the drive usually by itself. My hub has an optional powersupply which I don't usually carry.

I almost never us the laptop with USB when not connected via a plug. The battery just drains within an hour....

That's a fair amount of devices. I'm impressed that the T23 is able to handle the voltage output. I haven't tried a USB hub on a T20, but have had experience with power-hungry devices demanding more than the T20 could feed (thus requiring the use of a powered hub).
