Help pls

From time to time I run into the problem that I move from office with
wifi to home by suspending the thinkpad.  When I awaken machine
at home with the ethernet card, I have lost my domain name server
e.g.

 S:\>TRACERT 165.87.194.212

Tracing route to 165.87.194.212 over a maximum of 30 hops

  1     *        *        *     Request timed out.
  2     *        *        *     Request timed out.
  3     *        *     ^CTerminate batch job (Y/N)? y

 S:\>nslookup
 DNS request timed out.
    timeout was 2 seconds.
*** Can't find server name for address 58.181.147.10: Timed out
*** Default servers are not available
 Default Server:  UnKnown
 Address:  58.181.147.10

How might I input the ip address of the new server at the new location, without
rebooting the machine?  (For both W2K and eCS pls)

tks

Under OS/2 - eCS - go to the command line and type setup (enter)

Under Win2k, go to the command line and type ipconfig /release  (enter) wait from the prompt to come back and then type ipconfig /renew (enter).
