No, they should still be there in the hidden recovery partition and F11 can get back to it until you really mess around with stuff. It would be a good idea to also use dfsee to make a 2 cd image of that partition should you need to restore that at some point in the future. As I recall, on previous systems, I have gone thru the steps of putting the images someplace to burn, and thn made such CD sets so I could then "reclaim" that hard disk space knowing that if really needed to, I could wipe out something an restore the image. I think the last time I did a recovery like that I went all the way back to a creating just primary C, some free space, and the recovery partition. I don't recall if I had to actually allocate something into the free space to keep C from expanding to the full disk again, but could have had to. I guess in my case since I basically run XP in a VPC session and had to have an installable non restricted product anyway, I didn't care so much about a recovery partition rebuilding C:. Also, my T42 came with a bunch of extra useless stuff.
