But to do that I have to swap the drives in the laptop. I can't, AFAIAA use VPC because the OS/2 version, unlike the Mac, does not pass USB. So I thought I would try a Knoppix CD. That's just a reboot from the CD and no messing about. Got the latest 5.0.1 and burned a CD. Now the GPS and the BTUSB thingy can see each other and hcitool and something else show the three services the GPS supports. OBEX/FTP/Head phones. What I can't find out is what the *** one uses to do "FTP" transfers over BT. -- Regards Dave Saville
