The T4x series takes the Slim Ultrabay devices, which are thinner (not as tall) as the Ultrabay 2000 which you have in your T23. No matter; cdrecord just tales longer (and the server is ung-dly slow - fine for what it's doing in White Box Enterprise Linux 3, but as a desktop system, it's pretty bogged!). I've been doing some more iso burning with it throughout the day, and some of the bigger images take a long time. Meanwhile, I almost have Diane's T30 (my old one) set up for her. The Wi-Fi is really stable and performs well (I daresay that the Atheros outperforms the Intel unit I have in the T43 - or at least it feels like it). -- Lewis ------------------------------------------------------------ Lewis G Rosenthal, CNA, CLP, CLE Rosenthal & Rosenthal, LLC Accountants / Network Consultants New York / Northern Virginia www.2rosenthals.com eComStation Consultants www.ecomstation.com Novell Users Int'l www.novell.com/openenterpriseserver Need a managed Wi-Fi hotspot? www.hautspot.com ------------------------------------------------------------
