Dave, that is a good point but I have yet to find one here which has a
pocket for a laptop, i.e., a pocket that also has some type of extra
protection, and is not made by one of the known brands in this space.
I googled for Hama but that brand does not seem to be carried in the
U.S.
As for Wenger (SwissGear), although their website only shows one
backpack for 15" laptops and none for 17" ones, I have found that
MicroCenter lists one for the larger size... MicroCenter
(microcenter.com) also carries -- at least on their website --
backpacks from several other manufacturers, including Samsonite.
