Please disregard this post.

Well I tried to disregard this post, but I couldn't. I enjoyed having the OS/2
museum at Warpstock. Thanks, Mark, for collecting all the items in the museum,
and for allowing Warpstock to display them.

Neil

Thanks Neil.  Though I bought all the systems off eBay, all of the software was donated.  A huge amount came from Tim Sipples, but a lot of others have donated as well.

One of the things I have spoken to Lewis about is having one or two more branches of the museum so that it could be more easily moved to the chosen Warpstock location.  Right now it takes some planning and we are limited as to how much we can ship long distances because of cost and the risk of damage and loss.  If we had a cache of material on both coasts and maybe somewhere central/south or in Canada we could display a lot more at the event.  We just need some one and some place to store the items between shows.  Here I found a soon to be opened computer museum to store and hopefully display the museum items in between shows.

If anyone has access to or is interested in collecting and maintaining some old PS/2 systems and OS/2 software and memorabilia for display at future Warpstock events please contact me.  Also if anyone has any old but still working PS/2 systems and software that they are looking for a good home for, feel free to contact me as well.  Any duplicates will be put aside in the hopes of having multiple sites, so even if we already have it in the collection a donation is appreciated.  If anyone is reasonably close to the Jersey shore (I'm two hours away myself), I could use help in cataloging our current collection and also with working on the museum building itself.

Sorry to continue this thread.  If anyone has comments, suggestions or offers to help with this project please email me.

Mark
