(including IBM, Toshiba, Dell and others), so may not apply to yours. Early T42's had the 2200BG card, later or US versions had a different card I believe. It may even be the same as fitted in the T43. If that 168C:1014 is the ABG card - there will be several people on this list happy top know that it works with GenMac - I presume you are referring to running it using Genmac on either eCS or OS/2 ??
