Maybe yours is an older driver version?? And I know the many differences in HW components, that's why I hope I made it clear to those dimwits to sell me *exactly* what they had advertised. Right down to the chipset level. I never had any issues with the fingerprint reader on my T42p. But the infrared was always a sore loser on all my post A31p TPs. So yeah, now its my turn (again) :-( :-( The pain & pleasures of OS/2 cruising. Often I think the main reason why I'm so damn good at my day job is because this OS/2 biz keeps me on my feet 24/7. The one I'm speaking about is a TP43-2669-44G - to be avoided at all costs. So depending on the inbuild hardware, your TP43 might work excellent.
