OS/2 Wireless Users Mailing List <os2-wireless_users@2rosenthals.com> |

Well, I was actually not aware that usbuhcd.sys is USB1.1, as I had it work just fine with countless 2.0 devices on my T42p.
Maybe yours is an older driver version??
And I know the many differences in HW components, that's why I hope I made it clear to those dimwits to sell me *exactly* what they had advertised.
Right down to the chipset level.
I never had any issues with the fingerprint reader on my T42p.
But the infrared was always a sore loser on all my post A31p TPs.
So yeah, now its my turn (again) :-( :-(
The pain & pleasures of OS/2 cruising.
Often I think the main reason why I'm so damn good at my day job is because this OS/2 biz keeps me on my feet 24/7.
If you can survive OS/2 these days, then you can survive *anything* they throw at you :-)

Logitech mice didn't work for example.

About all my devices are 1.1 ...

Basically, usbuhcd.sys didn't work (that usb 1.1 as you sure are aware
off). I do recall an USB stick didn't work too (that stick had and has
no problems on my actual TP41).

The
wireless didn't work either. And above all, the fingerprint toy
mangled the whole USB setup.

Well, be aware there is no TP43(p). There are dozens of different
TP43(p), and the differences between these kinds are that big that it is
de facto about different computers.
The one I'm speaking about is a TP43-2669-44G - to be avoided at all costs.
So depending on the inbuild hardware, your TP43 might work excellent.
Alas, now it's your take to sort it out.
