Have tried the installations x times with and without and inclusive both the NIC's and = with proper dealings with UNImaint, CheckINI and CleanINI ... =2E.. but after more than a whole weekend plus Monday: NO SUCCESS here ;-((( Partially the result isn't bad: = Changing the wired NIC with the WL NIC seems to be recognized by the system ! With XWLan 3.0 I never had any luck ;-(( All entries, except Properties, Window, Help & Exit are "greyed" out and = however and whatever is change in Properties and Window: NEVER WOKED here ;-(( Even with GenMAC properly accepted during system boot = XWLan complains: "NO WLan Driver installiert" !? Mostly I tried ONE NIC only, either wired or wireless but = it works the old wired way ONLY ! With both the cards, set either to Wired or Wireless: NO IP is set and NOTHING connects ;-( I really do not know how and what else to try ;-O BTW: An IBM Thinkpad T30 with the Prism driver and Wifistat worked well here = but it also failed to work with the previous XWLan 2.14 !! Looks like I am not soo lucky with these here ;-[oops] -- >>> Say NO to H T M L in Mail and News <<< >>> AGAINST TERROR +++ AGAINST WAR <<<=
