Message-ID: X-Mail-Handler: MailHop by DynDNS X-Spam-Score: -1.2 (-) I don't find in the Verizon forum FAQ anything about windows being required. I do note that the firmware on some of thier supplied devices may not be up to date and that you may need to make some changes: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/verizonfios/3.0_Networking Some FIOS areas (NJ is one) not PPoE but plain DHCP service, but that's the router's problem. And I would say that either the router they are using is not properly configured to be DHCP to the LAN or is not acting as a NAT/DHCP device.
