xwlan is NOT able to control a ASUS WL-330GL, except as a DUMB ethernet port, not as a wireless device. No WEP or WPA is needed.

The WEP or WPA must be SAVED IN THE ASUS device itself as a PROFILE via the web pages that are used to configure it. Once saved as one of the FOUR profiles it will store, the button on the box can be pressed to change from one profile to the next.

You can change and add profiles by connecting with a default profile of 192.168.1.2 and a subnet mask of 225.225.255.0 to the device using 192.168.1.1 in your browser.

Once a PROFILE with the proper encryption is saved, the device can either serve for 1 or more devices attached via a plain hub serving DHCP to the attached clients or passing the DHCP to the wireless router. It depends on how you have setup the options and what position the switch on the bottom is set.
