Well, you should complain at Warpstock.org as I gave the presentation twice, once in 2005 and once in 2004. Since I am no
longer associated with Warpstock after 9 years, you have to speak to John Edwards the president, and Lewis R. about what
happened to the old presentations. They also shut down the yahoo groups where they were also stored in favor of the wiki/forum website they have now. I'll look around and see if I can find it and email it privately.

Broadbandreports.com has forums for all mfgrs of routers and ISPs. There is a FIOS forum, and a frequent question is what
routers work. I know the particular fact on that Netgear, as I have a 15mbps connection, and I had purchased that
particular Netgear for someone, and could not make it go faster than the 6mps I stated and only when the spi firewall was
not active. As another example, Linksys WRT54G with the linksys software are not good beyond 18mbps, but with DD-Wrt or
Hyperwrit firmware work well up to 25mpbs.....according to the stories posted at BBR. I use DD-Wrt, and I believe that I
will be upgrading my service to 30/5mpbs shortly, so I'll see first hand.

Well, 'up to' is the contract wording. Again, on BBR there is a lot of discussion about specific speed tests, and the
preferred one is SpeakEasy's. http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ but it's also java.

FIOS users generally get pretty much what they pay for once the overhead is calc'd in. Expect 4mbps.
