This is probably a question that would be better answered on a D-Link list
or by D-Link support themselves - I would expect they have a step by step
guide to setting up the link from windows - presuming you have the card
installed and working - if not go to the website of the supplier of the
WiFi component - probably Cisco or Intel.

It is to get the T-40 to work on the wireless side

Yes but since you're running WINDOZE there's a good chance that you can get directions from the router manufacturer as the majority of their customers run WINDOZE !
Like I said - I have to presume you have installed all WINDOZE drivers for the WiFi card correctly - hence you only need to configure it to talk to the router - go and check if D-Link have a downloadable guide - or didn't one come with the router ??
Either way this is not an OS/2 question.
