What exactly is a "cellular data card"? Hello Kris, The card is a PC Card which incorporates a USB controller, a USB modem, and a cell radio. The computer interacts with it using conventional AT commands like it is a conventional modem, so you would use a dialer like InJoy to tell the modem to dial. The card uses EVDO technology which, according to one source, is only available in the U.S.: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EVDO Sierra Wireless Developer's Central: http://www.sierrawireless.com/services/developers/whatsnew.aspx You can learn more by Googling for "Sierra 5220" and "EVDO" Have a great day!
