You will be surprised how difficult it turns out in the end.
It adds some portablity to the system.
I only can say it was quite a relief to get rid of the bridges. Assuming you have a router, setting up the Dlink DWL-G520+ is a piece of cake.
A google searc for "Dlink DWL-G520+" (don't forget both the: ") will get you a mass of possibilities. New devices, not second hand.
