Hello all,

Some time ago someone mentioned that he had used the older Cisco driver only to set the WEP key, then he used the newer driver to actually connect. Perhaps that may be of some help.

Could have been me.
Indeed, the newer driver (still beta) can't set the WEP key, only the older 340 driver can do that.
But I cannot remember what the advantage(s) of the newer driver over the older was/were (I've decommissioned the old laptop & Cisco card some months ago). Maybe hot swap? APM?
Anyway, the OS/2 Cisco 340/50 drivers only support 64 bit encryption.
All in all a little bit of a PITA.

Philip
