Mine was caused by having the VPC/2 virtual driver under the wireless. What solved it was to use the Intel Pro 1000 for the VPC/2, only have TCP/IP under that adapter and make the Intel 2200bg lan0. Now xWLAN finds the wireless ip adapter and XP canstill find the internet under VPC/2 even though Inever use the wired ethernet port.
