I was recently corresponding with M Erskin who designed the EZ-10 corner
reflector for 2.4 GHz and he said that because the card and the AP are
constantly re jigging the transmission the strength indicator shown by most
software is not a lot if use in determining if a reflector is actually doing
anything useful. Unfortunately he did not suggest what was :-(
That's interesting to hear. It doesn't jive with what I've read (or experienced), but it's interesting to read. I'll do some further digging on this.
