Any of you with model numbers 2668, 2669, 2678, 2679, 2686, and 2687 (some are T43; some are T43p) using GenMAC for the Intel 2915 a/b/g card should steer clear of BIOS 1.27 unless you have a copy of 1.24 (or 1.23) available. I found that 1.27 made my card invisible to GenMAC (and even hosed some Wintendo stuff, leading to persistent crashes in Wintendo Explorer, thus making the system completely unusable under XP - and remember, "XP" stands for the eXPerience of it all...).
Anyway, rolling back to 1.23 did the trick for me. just wanted to pass this along down the line.
