I found that 1.27 made my card invisible to GenMAC (and even hosed some Wintendo stuff, leading to persistent crashes in Wintendo Explorer, thus making the system completely unusable under XP - and remember, "XP" stands for the eXPerience of it all...).
Anyway, rolling back to 1.23 did the trick for me. just wanted to pass this along down the line.
