I need to revive this thread...

Background:  During the course of installing the recent v. 2 beta on a new partition I lost Ecs v. 1.2 on the partition I used for the OS2 OS.  All programs were on separate partition so they are still on the Thinkpad 42P.

I have now reinstalled Ecs v. 1.2  and have everything operating as before (including wireless  with Genmac)  except the wireless printing.

The Problem:  When I try to install the the printer I get no SLPR option for the port.

Do you know how I can recover the SLPR port option in new printer install routine?

Worked fine. When one clicks "new printer" a pop up us ask network or
local. I had been choosing network which gets you yet to another series
of screens with names logins passwords but lead nowhere.

All I had to do was choose local rather than network and configure slpr
as you suggested. then Bingo..wireless printing.

This is an aberration shared by Windows and OS/2 - a Network Printer seems to mean one attached to a server -
in peer-peer networking everything is local, even if it's accessed via the network! :-)
