Or if you want long filename support on your OS/2 Box from a > windoze share. Also some Wifi routers won't pass Netbios packets. I am not using a router. Windows works (my wife's machine), I am trying to get OS/2 to share files and a printer over the wireless NIC, not much luck at this point. My gateway machine (OS/2) has TCP/IP, NETBIOS, and TCPBEUI on the NIC for my home LAN, the NIC to my broadband connection only has TCP/IP to keep netbois from getting out of my gateway. > >Is there any way to tell what protocols have been bound to an interface, it > >might make trouble shooting this a little easier? > > > > > > > Look in MPTS. That only tells you what you configured, not what is actually been bound to the adapter. According to Frank if the interface does not have an IP then TCPBEUI will not be bound. -- Robert Blair =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to steward@2rosenthals.com with the command "unsubscribe os2-wireless_users" in the body (omit the quotes).
