Now I understand why trying to switched between wifi & wired that use DHCP bolloxed up my system. DHCP is not my strong suit. But then, I use DHCP for hotspot connections only, for home/soho application I use fixed IP only. So I have had no motivation to delve into DHCP intricaties.
