IMHO, this is not really a problem of IBMPRISM, but of MPTS. MPTS
shouldn't crash if there presumably is some error in a card driver. It
should give an error message why it can't use that card driver.

I'd suggest:
- see if there is a newer version, or a fix or update, to your version of MPTS;
First thing I did after the original problem with MPTS a few weeks back was to upgrade MPTS via ecsmt on my eCS 1.1 system. Bldlevel on my current version which crashes on 1.1 is the same as your display below.
- report the problem at IBM (if you have IBM's OS/2) or at
http://www.ecomstation.com/support/ (if you have eComStation).
I have done that. No response yet.
FYI: MPTS didn't crash on my eCS 1.2 while adding IBMPRISM.
I installed a clean install of eCS 1.2 on a new partition on my system a couple of days ago, and MPTS does not crash on that OS when adding IBMPRISM. BLDLEVEL shows the same as yours below for ibmlxcfg.dll on the 1.2 system as well as on my updated 1.1 system. Some other problem.
The IBMPRISM on my 1.1 system was downloaded from ecomstation. The .os2 file has the same date stamp and size as the one installed with 1.2 media refresh. The .nif files are different, however. I'll try to find out what is different in them.
