Will, I did not have duplicate defaults.  I did have a Net configured in 
TCP/IP configurations, so I removed that, but it didn't change anything. 
  Still after switching to wlan using xwlan, some browser pages load and 
some don't.  Get mail works, but send doesn't (that was happening 
before, as well).
