Well, that is half of the truth. of course setup.cmd should still be used for the LAN config aka wired connections.

Yes, Kris, I think everybody knows that for sure now ;-) What I can do to fix this first one, I will do asap on WSE (I think we meet there right ?). So you have to be patient a bit more.
- no way to istall genmac, as mpts buggers off immediately at being run.
This I have never seen or heard of. I think you should report that one to Mensys.
