Please download http://www.clanganke.de/test/xwlan/genmac_2_00_013.zip and replace the included genmac.dim in either the installation directory of the standalone executable or below the (x/e)Workplace plugin path. Then please report if a conenction could be established by XWLAN. Just a word to those who were not successful with GenMac so far: this mail is not intended to offend you in any way ;-) (I just reread a posting where I thought somebody could have had this impression...) and I am very sorry that I cannot help you with GenMac problems for now Another note to all users having the "IP disabled" status: I don't expect this fix to help you, as I assume that the error is not in the genmac interface module, but in the main module isntead, since also genprism users have this error. If you use genmac for your wireless hardware anyway, you still may want to try... Third, just to make it as clear as possible: this fix does not address the genprism style drivers (genprism, artem, IBM Prism...) otherwise I would give you a fixed genprism.dim. bye, Christian ------------------------------------------------- Christian Langanke COS2E & CWSE Team OS/2 Ruhr e.V. cla@clanganke.de =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to steward@2rosenthals.com with the command "unsubscribe os2-wireless_users" in the body (omit the quotes).
