On my laptop, with Genmac 1.00 on an Intel 2200BG I get an error from
xwlan saying that the card isn't detected, yet I can connect fine with
the connect.cmd I've been using sinc getting the genmac beta a few
months ago.

After running my connect script, xwlan does detect the wireless card and
shows signal strength, speed, etc.

I sadly won't be at Warpstock Europe :( However could connect the laptop
to the lan via the LAN card and install VNC if you wanted to take a look
remotely...
