So, I downloaded the IBMPRISM driver from eComStation and ran the
program to put the modules where they belong. When I run MPTS and
select the IBMPRISM to add card, MPTS bombs with the following entry in
popuplog.os2:
11-08-2005 14:17:07 SYS3175 PID 0082 TID 0001 Slot 00ab
F:\IBMCOM\MPTS.EXE
I have the latest updates from eComStation for tcp config.
What options do I have to get this to work? Thanks.
One way would be to do by hand what MPTS would do.
Use MPTS to add some network driver (doesn't really matter which),
then edit \IBMCOM\PROTOCOL.INI to replace stuff from that network card
with the corresponding entries for IBMPRISM. You can find the right
parameters in \IBMCOM\macs\IBMPRISM.NIF. Then, edit \config.sys to
replace the driver with the IBMPRISM driver.
However, I can understand that the above scares you off.
Another idea might be to use MPTS to first delete each and every entry
(network card and protocols), then try adding the IBMPRISM driver.
