Do we expect this to ever handle PCMCIA adapters? If not, my T23 is too
old to play in this game.
Hi,
please be patient with this, you have to stick to the old genprism alike drivers for now.
Including PCMCIA support into GenMac is not that trivial and for the author it has no priority at all. To be precise, he currentlydoes not want to do that at all.
But be sure that once this is in discussion again within netlabs.org and GenMac, netlabs.org will let this list know. Everybody owning a PCMCIA card (like the Cisco ones, where the driver does not even support WEP encryption) then can help by putting a request in order to make the need visible to the author of GenMac. This may change his mind. But until then _please_ hold on. Giving it a hurry now may well be contraproductive. Please under any circumstance _don't_ mail to the author of GenMac directly. If you have any questions you would like to ask outside of this mailing list or the gmane support mailinglist of GanMac, you may want to send mail to Adrian Gschwendt <ktk(a t)netlabs.org>
thanx, Christian
