It has worked well in the past and there were virtually no problems anyway with this newsgroup. I also followed Dave's notices with interest as similar things are happening here with similar laptops. He said it was OT and it hit me at the (unfortunately) right time... I gladly accept an OT item every once in a while if there is at least some connection with this group's standard topics, for what it is worth.
