Can someone please remind me what the routine is that checks all the
files messed with by MPTS?
TIA
MPTS messes with protocol.ini and config.sys. Unfortunately, it does not mess with ibmlan.ini, which is why changes to protocol.ini may make ibmlan.ini unusable, and changes to config.sys may make wifi unusable.
If you have eCS, you can download the MPTS wrapper from there. It will take care of the config.sys changes and calls LMSYNCH.EXE to straighten out ibmlan.ini. If you can't find LMSYNCH.EXE, which shipped with eCS 1.2, let me know.
My old nicpak code also will check ibmlan.ini for you. http://www.os2warp.be/index2.php?name=nicpak
