But NDISWrapper wraps different MS Windows drivers, not just one, and it requires you to
supply the drivers INF and SYS files. From your comment and experience, it looks like GenMAC
just supports the one WiFi chipset.  I only know this because I've used the NDISWrapper to get
the builtin Broadcom WiFi card working in my laptop running Ubuntu.
