You are getting annoyed for nothing; it is a matter of definition. There is
Skype, and there is Skype Out, which is a supplement for making calls to the
benighted millions that don't have a computer, or that don't have Skype
installed on it. One can regard these as two services or as one, and in either
case still be honest and sane.
I don't think there is anybody here that doesn't know that Skype Out can reach
those millions, or that is opposed to a possibility of running Skype or a
similar service on OS/2. Some people have other solutions that they prefer,
even to Skype; this is a phenomenon in the category of "Different strokes for
different folks", also called "That's what makes horseracing".
