My dear fellow, do allow me to inform somewhat, that is if you want to be infoemed.
Skyoe works in 2 ways.
- As any other VOIP, that is, the other side then is "Skyped" too, and than connection is as no costs. Assuming both sides are using DSL, ADSL ... of course (with a diak-up connection to use Skype would be senseles of course).
- Or you can call to anyone in the World at highly reduced costs. For instance, from Belgium to Kameroun for 10 euro instead of severall hundreds of euro. And that's not hear-saying, it is a real life example as I already wrote in an other group.
And the highly reduced costs for long distance calls and international _telephone_ calls is the very reason why Skype has become so popular.
And that's why eCS's incapacity to run Skype is a big problem. And even bigger a problem is the fact you guys don't want to ear it.
BTW: And nom Skype doesn't make use of anyone's computer.
