Just as a reminder and clarification, at Warpstock next week, I will be doing a half day clinic on Wi-Fi. This will differ somewhat from my previous years' presentations in that I want to focus solely on problem issues and discuss ways around them. Hotspot issues will be addressed (public as well as hotel/motel - for us road warriors) as well as the more typical driver/stack problems and TCP/IP routing issues (though there will be other networking sessions which will be discussing routing and so forth; Stan will be doing "Networking for Non-Geeks" which should address much of the basic routing issues).
If you have a problem with getting Wi-Fi to work, please bring it to Warpstock! My session is scheduled for Thursday morning at 8am in the Hemlock room, and I'll be doing a brief follow-up on Saturday afternoon at 1:45 in the Birch room. Besides that, we should have plenty of time for ad-hoc discussions (hey, we could have an "ad-hoc" discussion about "ad-hoc" wireless...). those of you who know me know that I'm only too happy to stop and discuss problems and answer questions in class and outside.
Please also feel free to stop by the Rosenthal & Rosenthal / Hautspot, LLC booth. My associate, Monuj Bose, will be there to discuss hotspot issues, sales, and deployment (for any enterprising souls!) and I'll be there as much as I can (between taking in the wealth of information we have on the schedule this year).
As always, up-to-date information (including the schedule) can be found at http://www.warpstock.org. It's not too late to register, and there are still rooms available nearby should you need a place to stay.
