I now pay NIS0.25 per minute (after 60 free minutes per month, with a monthly charge of about US$3.30/month) to call virtually anywhere. At the current rate of exchange, this is about US$0.05/minute (cheaper if you factor in the freebie minutes -- and I am not likely ever to use up the free 60 minutes), and I don't have to invest in hardware.
