Subject: [OS2Wireless] T30 wifi suddenly only works on boot and "card not

I have weird things happen with my Thinkpad which are bios related. There
has always been a problem with OS2 not being able to control the power to
the cardbus bus... thus Kurt's cbenable.

But try this. It worked when my Tp600e's serial port decided to become
inoperative:  go into the bios (alt-f1 and power on), select config in
'easy setup' and then select 'Initialize'.... It does *something*...
probably returns everything to the default state...That *may* allow you to
thereafter change the power state. In my case I never did figure out what
had turned off the serial port, but the Thinkpad configuration program
would not turn it back on, until I 'initialized' the bios.  As it turned
out, I had a bad serial cable, a program trying to talk to the wrong
address and a dead serial port... talk about a frustrating exercise in
problem solving.

I tried suspending the Thinkpad and then waking it up, hoping that the WIFI card will wake up too. No cigar :-(.
