Same thing -- I wind up with the same problem as was described. I've set power management on the Wifi card to disabled. Still the same thing. There's power management in the BIOS but it says nothing about Wifi. I'm not sure which version of APM I'm using. I tried suspending the Thinkpad and then waking it up, hoping that the WIFI card will wake up too. No cigar :-(. Cheng-Yang Tan P.S. I'm writing to you with WIFI on my Thinkpad under os/2, so it's working now. -- "Lewis G Rosenthal" wrote: At first blush, I'd say that you should not use WiFiStat and XWLAN on the same machine. That said, I, too, believe this to be a power management issue. Has anyt hing changed insofar as drivers are concerned? What version of APM.SYS are you running? Any power management settings in the BIOS? -- Lewis ------------------------------------ Lewis G Rosenthal, CNA, CLE Rosenthal & Rosenthal, LLC Accountants / Network Consultants New York / Northern Virginia www.2rosenthals.com eComStation Consultants www.ecomstation.com Novell Users International www.novell.com/linux/truth Warpstock 2005 - Hershey, Pennsylvania, October 6-9, 2005 www.warpstock.org Sent via Profimail under Symbian OS ------- Original message ------- From: cytan299@netzero.net Sent: 30.9., 0:42 > Hi, > I have been using my T30 with built in Wifi (with IBM prism driver) for the past year with no problems with XWLAN.
