Hi, I have been using my T30 with built in Wifi (with IBM prism driver) for the past year with no problems with XWLAN. However, in the last week something weird is happening: I can use my Wifi once on boot with WifiStat from IBM, i.e. it scans and finds the network, but if I turn the radio OFF, Wifistat says that the "Card is not found" and I cannot turn on the radio again because the option is greyed out. In the XWLAN widget, I have XWLAN turn off the radio on boot up and if I try to turn on the radio, it says that it cannot find the card. This is really annoying, because I used to be able to turn the radio on and off without problems. Has anyone seen this before? Furthermore since my Thinkpad was still under warranty, I was able to get a replacement from IBM and have replaced it. Unfortunately, it still has the same problem. When I boot to WinXP$ the radio can be turned on/off as many times as I wish. I have a suspicion that the WIFI card has gone to sleep, maybe there's some way to wake it up? And I cannot insert/reinsert the card again because it's a MiniPCI card and not PCMCIA. Thanks for any info.
