I am running eCs 1.2 very successfully on a T42, except of course of
the internal wifi card, which has been discussed. Have an artem wireless
card that works very well of course. The install was flawless. If I remember
correctly I was queried about notebooks and could select the T42
during the install. Got hibernation working also. Was very happy
about that. Not a great expert, but easily found instructions
to set this up online. This is my third thinkpad and have been using
OS/2-->eCs only on them and this was the easiest install. Keep waiting
to be able to use that internal wifi card!!
