I almost understand the paragraph above. This may be because I had a Hemmi
Seishakusho bamboo sliderule in 1948 -50. The "almost" is the key word, because
there were scales on that sliderule that I do not understand to this day, and
that had no parallel on the K&E sliderule I had after that period.

Not only don't I understand it, I don't know what security it would provide if
it is issued automagically.
